Water Matters - Cherry Blossoms on a cherry tree in Vancouver

When spring officially began in March, we asked for photos from the transboundary region, to help illustrate the end of a long and icy winter.

Well, Old Man Winter stuck around for a bit longer than expected, but Mother Nature eventually cooperated. So did numerous folks who read our blog and newsletter to follow IJC activities.

We’re happy to report that we collected more than 50 photos, from spots including Michigan, Wisconsin, Windsor, the St. Croix watershed, New York, Vermont, Vancouver and Washington state.

We’ve used a couple of the photos to dress up our Facebook and Twitter pages.

Here’s looking forward to summer, which officially begins June 21.

Photos submitted for “Signs of Spring” are in a slideshow below. See if you can find the rabbit.
