IJC Invites You to Step In and Speak Out for the Great Lakes at Public Meetings Set for June-September 2019

Date

The International Joint Commission will hold a series of roundtables, listening sessions and public meetings this summer and fall to hear from everyone about how the Great Lakes are faring, learn about actions that citizens are taking to restore and protect their part of the lakes, and discover what’s most important to each person when it comes to the health and vitality of the Great Lakes ecosystem.

These meetings are part of an IJC consultation throughout the Great Lakes region to assess progress by Canada and the United States to accomplish goals agreed to in the 2012 Great Lakes Water Quality Agreement. To review the governments’ latest progress report for their work under the Agreement, please visit binational.net/2019/06/13/2019-prp-rep/. Your and others’ views are essential to the IJC’s review process, so thank you for participating and please share this invitation with others.
