Chief Brian Perrault

Chief Perrault is a lifelong resident and member of Couchiching First Nation, located near Fort Frances, Ontario.  Chief Perrault lives on Rainy Lake and has guided, fished and hunted on the lake and in the surrounding area close to the lake.  From 1987 to 1993 Chief Perrault was a Tribal Chief for Grand Council Treaty 3 representing the 10 First Nations communities around Fort Frances.  For 19 years he worked in the federal government at Indian Northern Affairs Canada.  In February, 2016 Chief Perrault was elected as Chief of the Couchiching First Nation and began serving in that role in March of that year.

He is also a member of the Community Advisory Group and the Engagement Committee of the International Rainy-Lake of the Woods Water Board.
