International Rainy-Lake of the Woods Watershed Board’s Water Levels Committee to host Virtual Public Information Session on April 18 to provide an update on basin conditions

The International Rainy-Lake of the Woods Watershed Board (IRLWWB) Water Levels Committee (WLC) will host a follow-up virtual information session on Thursday, April 18, 2024, at 6:30 p.m. CDT. This session will be an update to the February 29 information session. The WLC initiated a Spring Regulation Plan on March 10 and continues to monitor conditions this spring. The WLC’s water level targets are posted on the IRLWWB’s website.
This information session will include an overview of current conditions and weather forecasts the WLC is considering in its Spring Regulation Plan, as well as an opportunity for the public to share observations of spring developments in the basin.
