International Rainy-Lake of the Woods Watershed Board’s Water Levels Committee to host virtual public information session to provide an update on basin conditions
The International Rainy-Lake of the Woods Watershed Board (IRLWWB) Water Levels Committee (WLC) will host a follow-up virtual information session on Tuesday, April 11, 2023, at 7:00 p.m. CDT.
This information session will include an overview of current conditions and weather forecasts the WLC is considering in its Spring Regulation Plan, as well as an opportunity for the public to share observations of spring developments in the basin. Anticipated topics for this session include status of average snowpack throughout the basin, precipitation and temperature forecasts.
The WLC initiated a Spring Regulation Plan on March 10 and continues to monitor conditions ahead of the spring freshet.
This session is an update to the February 27 information session. The public can submit questions and basin observations in advance via email to rlwwb@ijc.org
