POSTPONED - Lake St. Lawrence Open House 2019

We regret to inform you that the International Lake Ontario-St. Lawrence River Board has postponed the 2019 Lake St. Lawrence Open House that was scheduled for May 29, 2019 in Long Sault. While we anticipate that Lake St. Lawrence water levels will be impacted by the need for high Lake Ontario outflows to provide flood relief upstream, the timing is highly dependent on how soon the major flooding on the lower St. Lawrence River system subsides downstream, which is currently a very dynamic situation. The immediate need has prompted the Board to meet with state and local government officials around the Lake Ontario-St. Lawrence basin over the coming weeks.

The Board places a very high value in its relationship with the concerned communities and stakeholders and hopes to set a new date for the Open House as soon as it is able to best provide information that is relevant to residents on Lake St. Lawrence.

We thank everyone for their interest and to those who have registered for the event.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

If you have any questions or concerns please don’t hesitate to contact
