The Great Lakes-St. Lawrence River Adaptive Management (GLAM) Committee reports to the three Great Lakes-St. Lawrence River boards of control: Superior, Niagara and St. Lawrence.

The GLAM Committee is comprised of technical experts from the federal, state and provincial governments as well as regulation representatives (or alternates) from the Superior and St. Lawrence Boards and Working Committee Chairs (or alternates) from the Niagara Board. Read the GLAM's directive.

GLAM Committee members impartially serve without stipend in both their personal and professional capacities, and not as representatives of their home organizations.

The Committee is supported by staff of the US and Canadian federal governments and the IJC. The IJC engineering advisors liaise between the IJC and the Committee and advise on the IJC’s Orders and directives. The secretaries provide administrative support to the Committee, maintaining minutes, semi-annual reports, and other records.
