Description
Reference to investigate and report on the regulation, use and flow of the Souris River and its tributaries and the apportionment of water between the two countries.
Outcome

The Governments of Canada and the US approved and subsequently modified interim measures recommended by the IJC and requested the IJC to maintain continuous monitoring of the apportionment.
