- LETTERS TO GOVERNMENTS
Commissioners approved releasing the letter of February 12, 2008 to governments on the GLWQA Review and making it available on request, and agreed that in future they would make a decision on the treatment of letters to governments for public information purposes at the time that such letters are approved.
- LAKE ONTARIO – ST LAWRENCE RIVER (LOSLR) STUDY
Commissioners reviewed and commented on information to be made available to the public and at briefings concerning the upcoming release scheduled later this month and asked staff to provide a Media Release as soon as possible.
- STOCKHOLM WORLD WATER WEEK CONFERENCE (AUGUST 2008)
Commissioners agreed to submit a proposal for a Seminar at the 2008 Conference based on the topic of "the role of Treaties and transboundary organizations in preventing and resolving disputes".
- ATSDR REPORT
Commissioners received an update concerning the Report entitled "Public Health Implications of hazardous Substances in the Twenty-six U.S. Great Lakes Areas of Concern" and plans to release and revise the report.
- OTHER BUSINESS
Commissioners agreed to hold the traditional reception at the April 2008 semi-annual meeting.
