- PROGRESS REPORT OF AIR QUALITY COMMITTEE
Commissioners briefly discussed the requirement, per Article IX of the 1991 Air Quality Agreement, for the Commission to invite and synthesize public comment on the progress report of the Air Quality Committee and agreed to have staff proceed with establishing a comment period and inviting comments.
- GOVERNMENTS' GREAT LAKES WATER QUALITY REVIEW (GOVERNANCE AND INSTITUTIONS WORKSHOP)
Commissioners received information regarding Secretaries' separate discussions with governments' Agreement Review Committee Co-Chairs and further discussed the upcoming Governance and Institutions Workshop in Detroit, Michigan on November 29-30, 2006, including the Commission's role and attendance.
- MEETINGS OF ENVIRONMENT COMMISSIONER OF ONTARIO AND POLLUTION PROBE
Commissioners agreed to distribute via the IJC Announce email list a notice regarding four public meetings being held jointly by the Environment Commissioner of Ontario and Pollution Probe regarding the Great Lakes, provided an appropriate disclaimer was included specifying that these were not IJC meetings, were not being endorsed by the IJC, and that the information was being disseminated as a courtesy.
- 2007 BIENNIAL MEETING
Commissioners confirmed their agreement to shift the biennial meeting so it will begin the evening of June 6 and conclude on June 8, 2007.
