It's not too early to get organized for the 1999 biennial Great Lakes Student Summit, May 12-15, 1999, at the Buffalo Convention Center in Buffalo, NY. Students in grades five-nine will showcase their own research projects, participate in field trips and attend workshops. The summit will conclude with the students formulating a "Declaration to Protect the Great Lakes Ecosystem" to be presented to the International Joint Commission.
