25th ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATORY EVENT

In conjunction with the Agreement Public Forum, the Commission invites you to celebrate the Agreement's 25th anniversary. A celebratory event hosted by the International Joint Commission, in cooperation with Environment Canada and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, will be held Saturday evening, November 1, 1997 at the Niagara Falls Convention and Civic Center, Niagara Falls, New York.

A time capsule will be emplaced in a special ceremony also on November 1. You are invited to contribute your vision for the future of the Great Lakes, for inclusion in the capsule. The preliminary schedule of the Time Capsule Ceremony and Celebratory Event is provided below:

4:00 - 4:30 pm	Time capsule ceremony, Fort Erie, Ontario
6:00 - 10:00 pm	Celebratory Event, Niagara Falls Civic and Convention Center, Niagara Falls, New York
6:00 - 7:00 pm	25 Years of Great Lakes Images: a multimedia presentation
7:15 - 7:30 pm	Welcome and introductions
7:30 - 8:15 pm	Dinner
8:15 - 9:15 pm	Speakers: Reflections on first 25 years of progress and vision for the future
9:15 - 10:00 pm	Closing
