The Air & Waste Management Association (A&WMA) has scheduled April 28-30, 1996 for its spring conference and annual meeting, to be held at the Metro Toronto Board of Trade, Toronto, Ontario. Sessions range from environmental quality to environmental management. Also, Incineration: Assessment of the Burning Issues is the title to a workshop the A&WMA is conducting May 1-2, 1996 in the Greater Toronto Area. The Third Annual Conference on the St. Lawrence River Ecosystem will be held in Cornwall, Ontario from May 13-16, 1996. This conference at the Cornwall Civic Complex brings together scientists and communities from across Canada, the United States and around the world to discuss issues and strategies for the remediation of the St. Lawrence River ecosystem. Harmonization of State/Federal Approaches to Environmental Risk will be held May 20-21, 1996 at the Kellogg Center, Michigan State University, East Lansing, Michigan. IAGLR '96, Thirty-ninth Annual Conference on Great Lakes Research will be held May 26-30, 1996 at Erindale College, University of Toronto. F.T. Stone Laboratory of The Ohio State University is offering courses this summer in freshwater systems and specific information on the unique environmental attributes of Lake Erie. Environmental Data for the Great Lakes: A Curriculum Workshop will be held June 23-27, 1996 at the Ohio State University campus in Columbus, OH.
