4.0 WQB Advice on Agreement Review
Subsequent to the WQB retreat, the SAB held a conference in January, 2006 at the Wingspread conference in Racine, WI on Great Lakes Governance. Much of the dialogue at the conference was devoted to Agreement review and one of the recommendations in the SAB conference summary report is to merge the WQB and SAB into a single Science and Policy Board. Based on discussions at the WQB retreat and the fact that the government's review of the Agreement is underway, the WQB determined that it would be timely to develop its own advice to the Commission.
Action Item: WQB secretary to draft WQB advice to the Commission for members' review.
