Directions to UICStudent Center East By carUIC is just west of the junction of three major expressways: the Eisenhower (I-290), Kennedy (I-90/94 Northwest), and Dan Ryan (I-90/94 Southeast). Several exits provide access to the campus: Ashland, Damen, Halsted, Harrison, Morgan, Racine, Roosevelt and Taylor. From downstate, both I-55 and I-57 feed into northwestbound I-90/94. Visit Mapquest for detailed driving directions. Weekday Parking: While visiting the Office of Admissions on a weekday, parking is available at the parking structure located on S. Throop St., accessible from W. Harrison St., starting at $2.25 for the first half hour. Weekend Parking: You will need to park at the Harrison Street Parking Structure on Harrison Street just east of Racine Avenue. By public transportation (See Map)UIC is served by several city bus and rail routes: the Blue Line O'Hare/Congress/Douglas rapid transit trains (U of I/Halsted, Racine, Medical Center, or Polk Street stops) and several bus lines including No. 60 Blue Island-26th Street, No. 8 Halsted, No. 9 Ashland, No. 7 Harrison, No. 12 Roosevelt, No. 126 Jackson, and No. 37 Taylor Street (Sedgwick).
