INTERNATIONAL JOINT COMMISSION

The Council of Great Lakes Research Managers, in an effort to promote interjurisdictional and interdisciplinary planning and coordination of research related to the implementation of the Great Lakes Water Quality Agreement, initiated this compilation of current research activities in the Great Lakes-St. Lawrence River basin. The Research Inventory is updated annually. Please note that the 2000 Research Inventory is a work in progress . Additional entries may be made and some entries may be modified or deleted. A copy of entries posted to the web site March 2000 can be viewed. There are currently 614 total entries in the Research Inventory, representing a cost of over $137 million (U.S.), $202 million (Cdn). The site is in the process of being modified to provide for faster updates.
