Great Lakes Successes and Challenges: What is a Healthy Lake Michigan to You?
The Great Lakes are the heart and soul of our shared economies, cultures, recreation, and personal and collective quality of life. Please join us for an evening of conversation about how you, as a Milwaukee or nearby resident, view progress to restore and protect the water quality in the lakes. In your view, what government programs are working, what’s not? Does their progress report tell you what you want to know? What issues do you feel are most pressing for the Great Lakes – in your area and the entire watershed – and what additional actions are needed?
Your views are essential for the IJC to evaluate the governments’ progress accomplishing the Great Lakes Water Quality Agreement’s goals and objectives. Join us to learn more about local efforts for water quality management and to talk with the IJC and others about the successes and challenges for your watershed and for the Great Lakes.
