We have had a summer cottage on Hay Island since 1961. We are in favour of Plan A. It is imperative to keep the water levels at or above current levels to enable summer residents and visitors to have access by boat to their cottages, park islands and marinas. By lowering the water levels, many types of wildlife that are thriving in current water levels, would perish or decrease in numbers. Summer residents have a vested interest and want to ensure that the River is protected both environmentally and economically. Please approve Plan A.
