July 9, 2008 – Mr. Michael Waterhouse, Albion, New York

  1. The comment period closes on the 11th of July and yet the comments presented at the meetings are not yet available for all to read. There have been comments made that should be known to all interested parties before the comment period closes. Therefore I submit that the comment period should be extended until all comments have been posted.
  2. Better regulations need to be put in place for the compensation of land owners for damage done. The present techniques of breakwall construction has been proven to be not effective and new and better methods are available today.
  3. In today's world, every action taken has to be looked at not only from the direct affect of that action but also the far reaching affects of it. There are other considerations that have not been addressed by this group such as the total economic affect of each of these plans in lieu of the Sport Fishing industry and the associated support businesses that would be affected. I contend that the I.J.C. needs to go back and review ALL of the pertinent information that is available.
