July 25, 2006 - Mr. and Mrs. Robert A. and Cheryl M. Stevens, Hilton, New York

Help! People think global warming will lower the lake levels. There were only 2 weeks of frozen ice on the S. shore of L. Ontario in 2006. The ice protects the shoreline and the homes from wave action. The West winds pounded on our 67 foot beach and reduced it to 0 feet. The water is lapping at my foundation. Please adopt a plan that won't raise the level any higher than 246. I am already flooding and experienced the erosion of 67 feet of beach. We are a new build and do not have a breakwall at all. The water has made our home a penninsula. I have before and after pictures to show you. Please don't raise the level even 1 hundreth of a foot. We are in trouble. Thank you.
